Marching Toward Coverage is 2!

Today, my book, “Marching Toward Coverage,” turns 2!  While celebrating this milestone, I am also taking this time to reflect on the many changes in the healthcare and political landscape since the publication of my book, which reinforces its evergreen themes of:

  • the imperative need for universal health coverage which has now been laid bare by the COVID-19 pandemic,
  • the disproportionate burden women experience as primary caregivers in the face of pandemic-related job and insurance loss,
  • and the importance of taking action and stepping up our activism to move the needle on expanding healthcare coverage. Click here to find easy ways to step up your activism.

If you haven’t yet read “Marching Toward Coverage,” now’s the time!  You can purchase a copy here.  And if you have, please share a copy with others.  It’s a great way to kick off Women’s History Month. In the spirit of “Marching Toward Coverage,” let’s celebrate together and galvanize women and allies to take action in the fight for universal health coverage. Where there is action, there is hope!

Marching onward,
